Kyle Putnam led the way Sunday on the mound going 5.1 innings while allowing only 2 runs on 4 hits. Putnam had some struggles the beginning of this year but is back on the right track winning his third straight start. Mike Orefice, Jon Schwind, and Zach Shank all had multi-hit games and paved the way offensively to the 5-2 victory. We won our first conference series but can’t celebrate for too long. We travel to Bryant University and then Hofstra University during the week for two crucial momentum games to get us ready for our weekend series against Canisius.
