Sunday we took on Rider University for the third time this weekend. Rider jumped out to an early lead scoring two runs in the top of the first although the Red Foxes soon struck back. It was a tie game, 2-2, in the bottom of the sixth. But yet again, we couldn’t string together hits in the back half of the game. The tie was broken open in the 8th and 9th innings when Rider scored 2 runs in the last two innings. We ended up losing that game and got swept for the weekend.
