Swept Again…

This was a frustrating weekend to say the least.  During the first game (7 innings) we were down 11-4 in the last inning and we started to surge back.  We scored 4 in the last inning but it wasn’t enough to overcome Manhattan. We lost the first game 11-8 but still had another one to play.  Through the first six innings of the second game we held Manhattan to 3 runs on only three hits however our offense could not get it going.  We could only push across a single run and everyone’s frustration was boiling over at this point.  We are 22-12 now and since we have lost our last two weekend series we need to win the majority of our last conference games to at least make our conference tournament.
